Please believe me, this is no joke. I am a 26-year-old male and have never slept with a woman. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gay. I've just never taken the time or had the desire for a sexual relationship. I guess you can say I'm virgin.

I'm a Christian singer and have been worried about myself. I've talked to close friends and they have suggested I masturbate. I haven't done it because it goes against everything in me. Dear Peoria: You are probably "asexual" — which means your sex drive is so low it is virtually nonexistent.

Masturbation does not kill virginity, but why do it if you have no sexual urges that require a release of tension?

You are not a freak. There are other adult virgins around — both male and female. These people don't have sex and they don't miss it.
